Ward 3 Spring Cleanup Dates

This spring season, let’s come together to help keep Etobicoke–Lakeshore clean, green, and welcoming for everyone. I’m inviting residents, families, and community groups to join a series of Saturday morning neighbourhood cleanups across the ward.

These cleanups are a great opportunity to connect with your neighbours, spend some time outdoors, and take pride in the parks and main streets we share. Whether you can join for a few minutes or the full two hours, every bit of help makes a difference.

Cleanups will take place on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the following locations:

  • April 04 – Bell Manor Park
  • April 11 – Alderwood Memorial Park
  • April 18 – Mainstreet cleanup of Lake Shore Blvd W (Long Branch + New Toronto)
  • May 02 – Mainstreet cleanup of Lake Shore Blvd W (Mimico)
  • May 09 – Mimico Creek Valley

Supplies will be provided — just bring comfortable clothing and your community spirit. Volunteer hours are available for high school students.

Spring Community Cleanup in Mimico

Join Councillor Amber Morley, the Mimico Residents Association, Green Mimico, and Mimico by the Lake BIA for a community cleanup of Lake Shore Boulevard West in Mimico!

📍 Meet at Mimico Square at Amos Waites Park (2445 Lake Shore Blvd W)

Community Cleanup of the Mimico Creek Valley

🌟 Registration required – please register here!

Join Councillor Amber Morley, the TRCA, and The Thompson Orchard Community Association for a cleanup of the Mimico Creek Valley, between Bloor St W and Meadowcrest Road.

📍 Meet at the Orchard Crescent cul-de-sac.

Help get rid of plastic bags, bottles, cans and other litter along the trails in the Mimico Creek Valley. Working together, we can make a huge difference!

This event is FREE, however, registration is required. When registering, please use a valid email address so that we can keep you up to date on the event.

The safety of our participants and staff remains our top priority.

Please arrive on time, and wear close-toed shoes and long pants. If you have work gloves at home, please bring them with you. If you don’t, we will have sanitized equipment available for participants.

Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will have water on site for refilling and light snacks will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

All scheduled events will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme and/or unsafe weather conditions, TRCA staff will email you by 8:00 am the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
