As part of the TTC’s Easier Access Program, Islington Station is set to undergo a major modernization. The project will deliver a new bus terminal and station entrance designed to be brighter, more accessible, and easier to navigate.
Planned station upgrades and improvements include:

A new bus terminal with five bus bays

A new station entrance at the northwest corner of Islington Avenue and Aberfoyle Crescent

A new underground bus terminal tunnel

A new elevator providing barrier-free access between the subway concourse and platform levels

Improved signage and new public art throughout the station
